FAQs

  • No. We have a development team which caters for beginners and novices. We coach the basics and fundamentals of ice hockey to give you a good start to your journey.

It would be preferred if you have attended public sessions and learnt to skate, but this is not a mandatory requirement.

  • This would depend on your current level of ability.

Initially, new players are placed into our development team (Warriors 3) but if we felt your abilities were above this level, it would be reviewed.

  • Not yet.

Our players are donating their old kit to the club so that new starters can try out without paying for new kit.

But, we would not recommend relying on this yet.

There are second hand options online.

Please see our Equipment page under the Training tab for more information.

  • No. We have women playing in each of our Warriors teams which includes both checking and non-checking.

  • For Warriors 1 players, it is £60 per calendar month plus additional game fees.

This is for 1.5 hours of training each week.

For Warriors 2 and 3, it is £50 per month plus additional game fees.

This is for 1 hour of training each week.

  • This varies.

Recreational hockey doesn’t have it’s own league with weekly games, so we arrange challenge games and enter weekend tournaments instead.

This is all dependent on the availability of other teams. We try to arrange one game per month, approximately.
